Data widgets

Data widgets are visualization widgets that display data from your software catalog, including charts, tables, boards, and entity information.

Available widgets

These options match the Data section of the widget picker. Select a card to open its docs:

Number chart

Display a number value related to an entity and its properties

Pie chart

Illustrate data from entities divided by categories and properties

Bar chart

Illustrate entity data as vertical bars by category or property

Line chart

Visualize trends over time for properties or entity counts

Table

Display all entities of a selected blueprint in a searchable table

Board

Display catalog entities as cards in columns grouped by a property

Entity card

Display data about a specific entity

When creating widgets using Port's Terraform provider, you need to provide the widget type's identifier in the type key.
The following table lists the identifiers for each data widget type:
