Check out Port for yourself ➜

Getting started

After signing up and creating your organization, you will connect your Git provider. From there, with the help of Port's AI assistant, describe what you want to build in natural language and it will set up the rest of your platform for you.

By the end of this process, you will have an agentic engineering platform with your tools connected, your catalog populated with real data, and your first AI-powered workflow running.

Onboarding steps

  1. Set up your Git provider - Connect your Git provider so Port can start populating your context lake with repositories and pull requests.

  2. Craft a prompt - Choose a use-case, let Port AI configure your platform, and get the initial structure built for you.

  3. Set up your context lake - Connect additional tools and populate your context lake with services, users, and ownership data.

  4. View your dashboards - Explore the dashboard pages created for your use-case, now populated with data from your tools.

  5. (Optional) Invite your team - Bring your colleagues into Port so they can benefit from the shared catalog and workflows.

  6. Create your first agentic workflow - Automate an engineering task using Port's AI-powered workflow engine.
