Boolean

Boolean is a primitive data type that has one of two possible values - true and false.

Common usage

Use boolean properties to record yes/no states, such as:

  • Whether an environment allows deployments.
  • Whether a service handles personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Whether a repository enables branch protection.
  • Whether a resource has public network access.

API definition

{
"myBooleanProp": {
"title": "My boolean",
"icon": "My icon",
"description": "My boolean property",

}
}

Terraform definition

The examples below use version 2.29.0 of the Terraform and Pulumi providers. Configure your provider first, then run one example at a time in its own project. Each example creates a blueprint; use distinct identifiers when you combine examples.

resource "port_blueprint" "myBlueprint" {
identifier = "myBlueprint"
title = "My blueprint"
properties = {
boolean_props = {
"myBooleanProp" = {
title = "My boolean"
required = true
}
}
}
}

Pulumi definition

"""A Python Pulumi program"""

import pulumi
from port_pulumi import Blueprint,BlueprintPropertiesArgs,BlueprintPropertiesBooleanPropsArgs

blueprint = Blueprint(
"myBlueprint",
identifier="myBlueprint",
title="My Blueprint",
properties=BlueprintPropertiesArgs(
boolean_props={
"myBooleanProp": BlueprintPropertiesBooleanPropsArgs(
title="My boolean",
required=True,
)
}
